Daniel Lefkowitz

I was planning to catch The Low Anthem when they pass through Boston at the beginning of March. Daniel Lefkowitz is opening – and the 3 song ep he just released will guarantee that I’m not late. From North Carolina, Lefkowitz creates beautiful, ragged folk songs. The 3 tracks are just Lefkowitz’s worn, weary voice and guitar, with subtle washes of zither, saw, organ on two tracks.
